Spring Break 2011

Falling asleep after leaving Animal Kingdom

Watching the parade, I am not quite sure what to make of all the characters.

Brushing the animals at the Petting Zoo

This year for Passover we went to Orlando to have Seder with Gammy and Papa and 40 of their closest friends. At the Seder, I kept asking for Challah and wine and did not understand why there was only Matzah on the table. I enjoyed most of my dinner (especially my chicken fingers and french fries, as well as my chocolate chip cookie- although Papa ate more of it than I did). I did really like the Charoset because it had apples in it and I would have eaten the whole bowl if I could have. When it came time to look for the Afikomen, off with Jared I went. As much as Jared picks on me and tortures me at times, he can be a very sweet big brother. He took my hand and around the room we went. We did end up finding the Afikomen and when I came back to see Mommy and Daddy, I screamed at the top of my lungs... "I FIND IT, I FIND IT" According to Mommy it was very cute and I was so excited.

Also on this trip we went to Animal Kingdom where I was mesmorized by everything around me. I loved the Lion King Show, the animals were great and I just had an all around a good time. We also went to play Putt-putt, where I had a ball just hitting the ball. We went on the boat and Daddy tried to take me in the tube but it was not a very successful trip. We also swam in the lake, I was a little traumatized after all this but I survivied. I always having a great time going to see Gammy and Papa. You never know what will be around the corner.

Enjoy my pictures.

GO Dawgs pictures and sandbox

So, these are a little out of order, but I wanted to make sure to include them in our blog. Mommy took Jared and I to get pictures taken decked out in our Georgia gear- don't we look cute.

I also have placed pictures of my excitement when building our Sandbox (under the swingset). Needless to say now it is too hot and we have not even played on it. One of these days.

Enjoy.

Kids Fair

Once again, we went to the JCC Kids Fair at Guillard Auditorium. I enjoyed walking through all the vendors, playing games, and seeing everything that was going on inside the auditorium. I also really liked riding the tractor and sitting in the Fire Truck. I did not jump on the jump castles, but I did like the bubble machine. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoys the warm weather.

I have to put in one comment about the weather- as it started to get warm out, Mommy went to put a short sleeve shirt on me. I was and am still not sure about this, because I immediately tried to pull my sleeves down and told Mommy I was cold. I am going to have to get used to this change in weather.

Happy Birthday Daddy

For Daddy's birthday, we made him a cake and dinner. It was a lot of fun. Daddy turned 36 this year and it is so much fun being able to play with him. I really like riding in the car with Daddy and asking him to push the "fast pedal."

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Boston Trip

So, as you can tell Mommy is very far behind, but she is going to work to try to catch up. For MLK Weekend this year, I got to ride on my first airplane. It was very cool. We drove from Charleston to Charlotte the night before our flight and stayed with Uncle Josh and Aunt Ali. I fell asleep in the car and when we got to their house I did not want to go back to sleep. I stayed awake in the bed with Mommy and Daddy all night.

The next day we went to the airport and flew direct to Boston. I did very well on the flight. I woke up once going and once coming back screaming because my ears hurt, but after Mommy calmed me down and I went back to sleep. I had a great time on the plane.

The trip to Boston was for Adam Taub's wedding. We went to the dinner before the wedding and the cocktail party. We also went to the Children's Museum. I played with my cousins including Hayden, Rowan, Elana, and Mya. We also went outside to play in the Snow, I was not so sure about that. It was not something I enjoyed and whenever I fell I kept telling Mommy I wanted to get up.

It was so nice to see everyone and it was great to spend time with family. I had such a great time on the trip and it was so nice to fly and see a lot of snow. I hope everyone enjoys all the pictures.

Take care
Andrew

Happy Chanukah

This year I actually began to understand what Channukah was. I learned that you light candles which I loved and couldn't wait to do it every night. I put on my kipah "hat" and helped Mommy and Daddy light my candles on my Menorah. I said the blessing and liked to sing songs. The thing I loved best during Channukah was opening my presents. I still don't quite get that they are new toys, because I kept wanting to open more.

I did love what I got, especially my "Choo Choos" One of my favorite shows is Chuggington and I received many trains that go with that set. I also received some trucks, some bath toys, books, and games. It was a great Chanukkah and loved to open presents. For many more nights after it was over I kept asking to light the candles again. I had a hard time with knowing it was over.

One of my favorite things for Channukah was Dreidels, throughout December I never left the house without at least two dreidels in my hand. I loved to sing the songs and loved to play the games.

I also have to say that my teachers at Roper Learning Center- Ms. Rachel and Ms. Tomika did a wonderful thing for me, they taught my whole class about Channukah, they read stories, they played the dreidel game, and they even made Homemade latkes (Mommy does not even do that). This meant so much to Mommy and I learned a lot about all the holidays.
Happy Hanukah!
